Practice Managers

The professional managers at GSBT play an integral role in the firm's practice. GSBT offers its clients the opportunity to engage the firm to provide post-implementation administration assistance in connection with trust and company structures established by the clients, and this work is performed primarily by the firm's managers under the supervision of the firm's attorneys. In addition, the managing staff participates actively in the implementation phase of many client projects, which allows the firm's attorneys to deliver legal services with a high level of fee efficiency.

Ms. Dedman manages the firm’s private placement life insurance planning practice.  In this role, she is in charge of assisting high net worth clients with the acquisition of very large offshore and domestic private placement life insurance policies and the attendant trust and company administration issues.  This work includes gathering the initial financial and medical information necessary to underwrite the policy, establishing and supervising administration systems for the foreign trust or company that owns the policy, coordinating with the foreign trustee on trust matters, and working with the foreign insurance broker and carrier on insurance matters.  Ms. Dedman also coordinates clients’ contributions to and distributions from foreign trusts and provides general administration assistance with foreign trust and company structures.

Ms. Lepold manages the firm’s international estate planning practice.  In addition to her work supporting several family offices, Ms. Lepold also spear heads the firm’s work in forming and administering foreign and domestic trusts and entities.  This work includes drafting legal documents, designing and implementing trust and entity administration systems, serving as a liaison between clients and their fiduciaries and investment professionals, and supervising the compliance of these structures from a legal and tax perspective.

Mr. Kentros manages two areas of the firm’s practice.  First, Mr. Kentros oversees the firm’s professional relationships in the areas of international estate and asset protection planning, and private placement life insurance planning.  These professional relationships are with trust companies in more than eleven non-U.S. jurisdictions, foreign banks, investment managers, and other professionals such as accountants and trust protectors.  Second, Mr. Kentros manages the firm’s investment portfolio planning practice.  His expertise is not only in the field of traditional investments but also in the area of hedge funds, fund of funds, leveraged funds, private equity funds, and venture investments.  Mr. Kentros also coordinates one of the firm’s largest family office representations.

Ms. Anderson manages the tax reporting and compliance practice of the firm, which involves reporting to the applicable authorities (tax and otherwise) that is required in relation to foreign trust and business structures established by the firm’s clients. Ms. Anderson also coordinates one of the firm’s largest family office representations.
