Ms. Nguyen works primarily in the firm's international trust and estate planning practice, with an emphasis on the administration of foreign trust and entity structures. This work includes maintaining trust books and records, serving as a liaison between clients and their fiduciaries and investment professionals, ensuring that due diligence is completed appropriately, and assisting in the various U.S. tax compliance requirements for foreign trusts and entities. Ms. Nguyen also provides support for several family offices and assists in the implementation of the traditional estate and disability planning aspects of clients' overall international estate plans.

Ms. Archer’s primary responsibility is to assist clients with the implementation of investment portfolio planning within the context of an overarching estate and asset protection plan developed specifically for each client. In this role, Ms. Archer coordinates complex transactions, for both traditional and non-traditional investments, and communicates extensively with trustees, foreign banks, investment managers, and other professionals such as accountants and trust protectors. Ms. Archer also assists with income and foreign trust tax reporting and is an integral contributor to one of the firm’s family office representations. In addition to her investment and entity administration work, Ms. Archer participates in the administration of several family foundations and other charitable giving structures.

Ms. Bonham's primary responsibility is to assist clients with establishing their domestic estate planning structures. In doing so, she supports the firm’s attorneys by drafting and preparing wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, beneficiary designations, and disability documents, including powers of attorney, directives to physicians, declarations of guardian and medical authorizations. Ms. Bonham also assists with gift and estate tax reporting and the administration of probate estates. In addition to her estate planning, tax reporting, and administration work, Ms. Bonham aids the firm in the organization and administration of private foundations and other charitable giving structures.

Ms. Drass supports the firm’s tax reporting practice by serving as the hub for information about the formation and funding of foreign and domestic trust and business structures established by the firm’s clients. In this regard, Ms. Drass plays an integral role in ensuring that tax reporting deadlines related to such structures are properly met. In addition, Ms. Drass facilitates the formation of domestic and foreign business entities and assists in the preparation of related organizational documents in connection with our clients’ asset management and business concerns.

As a member of the firm’s insurance practice, Mr. Everswick’s primary responsibilities include the preparation of quarterly investment performance reports and annual policy reviews, policy and fund performance modeling, addressing the needs of the policyowners by answering the policyowner’s and insured’s questions, and coordinating premium payments. Mr. Everswick also participates in the firm’s investment portfolio monitoring practice.

Ms. Baublitz assists in the design, implementation, and administration of offshore and domestic life insurance structures. In this role, she supports the firm’s insurance practice by the gathering of financial and medical information necessary to underwrite a policy, and works closely with the insurance brokers and carriers on underwriting and post-issuance matters. Ms. Baublitz also addresses the needs of the policyowners by answering the policyowner’s and insured’s questions and coordinating premium payments.

Ms. Kohler supports the firm’s income and estate tax attorneys in the design and implementation of domestic and international entity structures, including drafting entity organizational and governing documents for trusts, partnerships, and other pass-through entities. In this regard, her work includes interfacing with domestic and foreign governmental registrars and taxing authorities, as well as the firm’s financial and investment service providers. She also assists with the drafting and finalization of domestic estate planning documents including wills, trusts and a variety of ancillary documents. Her work involves the development, maintenance and oversight of materials, systems and processes to facilitate the understanding and administration of complex legal structures by clients and their other advisors.
